#FightLikeHellTel

January 3rd Tel was involved in a severe truck – train accident. Many people in our community have reached out to His Cavvy for help.

Tel is the kid that will give you the shirt off his back, a cowboy through and through! He doesn’t talk much about his faith because it is demonstrated in every action he takes.

Tel was in the SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit) at Denver Health for about 30 days. He has since been moved over to PAM Specialty hospital (long term acute care hospital) in Denver, CO where he is in the ICU. Tel has had multiple surgeries, including a complete pelvis repair. He is currently facing a Traumatic Brain Injury, which has not allowed him to wake up just yet.

The unknowns that occur in an accident like this are scary. We are asking you to shower Tel and his family with prayers at this time. The family says: “pray BIG and for continued MIRACLES!”

If anyone would like to donate specifically to Tel Linke’s needs, please contact us or you can donate below. Tel has a long, slow, and bumpy road to recovery ahead of him and needs this community’s help!

Hank the Cowdog Donation Giveaway

Tel’s 21st birthday is March 2.  You can donate in $21 increments ($21= 1 Entry) to the Hank the Cowdog Book Collection Donation Giveaway. The giveaway will close when we reach 1,000 entries. The 77 Hank the Cowdog book collection includes a signed original book and is valued at over $1,000 and was graciously provided by the author John Erickson and his publisher.  The lucky winner will be selected and posted on this page. (click on the Hank the Cowdog Donation Giveaway below to donate and be entered to win the book collection)

John Erickson, the author of Hank The Cowdog, is contributing his complete collection of the popular series in support of Tel and his family (big fans!). The award-winning books are based on the humorous antics of a self-declared canine Head of Ranch Security that spans the universe of the Texas Panhandle cattle ranch Hank calls home. The collection includes 77 hardcover classics like The Original Adventures of Hank The Cowdog, as the intrepid fella is framed for the murder of a chicken and becomes an outlaw with the coyotes.

The collection includes signed copies of the original book, as well as Finding Hank, the 180-page illustrated hardcover that answers the most-often asked questions about Hank. The series is valued at over $1,000. The Linke family is grateful for the generosity of John Erickson and his publisher. Once again, Hank reigns supreme. Attaboy.
